I was in luck avoiding the December 19 snowstorm in Rochester, NY, by leaving on Thursday night , Dec. 18, for Stamford, Connecticut, and arrived at my brother's house at 3:30 am. I woke up at 9 am and went for a walk with my dad and brother. Snow started falling and accumulated about 4" when we walked back to the house.

After lunch I called a couple of colleagues at Xerox in Webster, NY. They said the snowstorm hit Rochester early in the morning. I talked to Michael and he was busy helping friends getting their cars out of snow. I also called Richard to see if he still had basketball practice. Richard was shoveling snow from the walkway while informing me of the snowstorm.

It's been a long time, since I graduated from college here in Connecticut, that I had the chance to visit my family in December.

On Saturday, Dec. 20, all family members gathered at my sister's house in Trumbull, CT, where we had delicious Vietnamese dishes!

Thank you everyone for such a great time and it brought back so many memories.
